Just the FAQs

How is your service different from others?

All of our operations are based in the United States of America and we are proud to provide a Tier 1 Technical Support Service with ALL U.S. Based Technical Staff. Beware of others that use offshore call centers and scripted programs to provide support.

How Secure is my Credit Card?

Internet CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS are SAFE. The data on this is coming in from all over the country.

The Following quote is from the NEW YORK TIMES (11/13/95):"The truth is that sending a credit card number to an electronic merchant over the internet is probably the safest way to make such a transaction." "There is more risk in giving credit card data by phone to a hotel."

The form we use is more secure than if you had used your credit card in a restaurant or given it to the reservations desk at the airport or over the phone to a hotel. Think of how many hands your credit card goes through in a restaurant-- The waiter, the cashier, the manager, the accountant and whoever sweeps up at night. And yet, we trust.

The security of your information, transactions, and money is very important to us and our merchant account provider, PayPal.

PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to our site, PayPal’s server checks that you're using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.

Once your information reaches PayPal, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. Their servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the internet, so your private information is available only to authorized computers.

My Online Tech Support does not collect or store you credit card information. Again the security of your credit and your computer is of the utmost importance to us and is an integral part of our service.

What is remote support ?

Remote support is a service that allows us to work on your computer over the Internet. In the past this type of service was only available to Corporate America and Big Business with Intranets and Wide Area Networks. With Broadband Internet becoming available to most, we can now offer this class of service to all. With the ability to remote connect to our customers we save travel time and associated costs. What this means to us is the ability to cut costs and pass this savings on to our customers. With onsite service companies and service centers charging on average of $120.00 per hour this becomes a choice of economics.

Why is online support better than traditional computer support?

Why wait hours on hold to talk to someone that probably won't be able to walk you through your whole problem? It can get very costly to take your computer somewhere to get repaired, not to mention the many days you have to wait to get it back. Online tech support allows us to remotely access your computer so that we can directly fix the problem and you don't have to figure out hard to understand instructions. The best part is you never have to leave your house and depending on the problem it won't take us very long to fix.

Are my files safe?

The answer to this very important question is yes, your files are very safe. Even though our technicians have access to your computer they will not invade your privacy. You are able to watch every mouse movement they make on your computer while they are doing it. At any time you don't want them connected you can disconnect easily. Our connection is very secure that you don't need to worry about anyone being able to access your computer before, during, or after we are connected. When you log on to our support center it is a fully encrypted direct connection with only you and the tech you are speaking with.

Will my old computer work with your service?

This all depends on how old the computer actually is. Your computer needs to have Windows 2000 or a more current version. You must have 128mb of ram. Most important is that you have a high speed broadband connection. If you have any questions about what we support or what you have, please click here and contact us.
